[5-türer] CSH's 2.2 DTi "OPC" - Sold :( New car page 11 ;)

So.. here we go.
Picked up the Astra in Ahaus (Germany) December 2006.
Found it on mobile.de.
Only thing i reckon it's missing is distance parking sensor, sunroof and antitheftsystem.. besides that i think it got everything else.
Not something you see everyday in Denmark.. even the guys at the local Opel dealer used more time looking at the car, rather than finding the faults it had.. (A car like this easily costs 20-25k € in Denmark because of our insane taxes)

Anyways.. on with the pictures.

The dealer told me it had a dent in the bonnet.. but, that isn't just a dent.
Later on I figured out that the whole front had been replaced, frontfender, headlights and so on.. but apparently they couldn't afford to replace the bonnet.

Night pictures from the local harbor, after I've lowered it approx. 85/60 mm with a Weitec Hicon GT.







Testing with 18"'s on it.. before I lowered it to the 85mm in the front (this is with about 60-70mm lowering), and redid the rear hence we've mounted it wrong



Future plans..

Complete OPC2 kit (already got the frontbumper and rearwing laying around)
OPC3 alloys with 215/35R18 Conti tires.
Respray in the same color.
Soundsystem (when I can afford it)
A new trailerhook..

And I need to show you my old car.. An Astra F 1.6 which ended up running 454k km before a girl ment it should be totalled (she crossed an intersection in full red light hitting me with about 80 km/h)







Complete Steinmetz bodykit, 7x17" OZ Crono with Conti SportContact 2 195/40R17 lowered 60/40 with Vogtland/Koni suspension.

It ended up looking like this..

I was the only one in the car, and thank god for airbags She drove a Lancia Ypsilon..
I didn't get any permanent injuries And to my knowledge, neither did she.

Yeah! That looks awesome. Now still the OPC Bodykit and then its perfect. I think it was a very good decision!!

Funny thing is, people in Denmark aren't used to se a lowered Astra G with 18's

Hehe Denmark sucks bigtime when it comes to cars - we have a 180% tax after mwst (isn't it called that?).. så actually we pay for 3 cars, but only getting one.
So equipment are usually kept on a very low level to get them as cheap as possible ('cause you have to pay that tax on factorymounted equipment as well)..
Fx.. if I want to sell my car, I would set a price about 23-24.000€ ..

A "small" update

Since I was tired of the std looks on the frontbumper, I bought a OPC1 front wing.





Black Irmscher rearlights



And now for the big thing.. soundsystem
Frontsystem - DLS UR6S
Rearsystem - DLS UR5S
Subwoofer - DLS MW12
Amp #1 - Alpine PDX 4.100
Amp #2 - Alpine PDX 1.600
Headunit - JVC KD-SH9104 (old dog, but working fine )
Damping - Dynamat in the doors








Check the actual watt it puts out

..now onwards with the build..





Put 4mm asfaltplate in the trunk, reduces noise a lot.



Glasfibre... Car stunk for a month...

Oooooh yeah Loud and clear, still got some adjustments though, but that will be sorted in the spring.

That has happen twice for me
One time with the same part as yours being broken, second time I discovered it in time, and only the collar (manschette) was broken.. seems it's a fault they get when lowered a lot

In Jutland, on the part called Djursland (Kattegatmuseum, Djurs Sommerland etc area), although I do have a tendency to be around every where

I payed about 180€ for the wing through a good friend that works at Opel.. So I got a nice discount on it..
