    Thank you,

I really think the same, I will try to find a good price for springs. I can keep the original dumpers, right? They are in good conditions yet.

I will apply the "level sensor" for Xenon too.

    Fitting Electronic Climate Control.

I have received some private messages about the installation of Electronic Climate Control, so, I will write here the last message that I send trying to help a forum member.

    I hope to help you!

Until now I already installed Climate Control in some Astras, always with success! So, I think that this is possible in any Astra model.

The parts that you need are the electronic control panel, "climate box" with all sensors and motors, sun (position and intensity) sensor. After this you need wires, and a 32 pin plug (is the same used in MID, GID, or CID). (Of course you need the new central console too).

Here the Electronic Climate Control, Climate Box:

The sun position and intensity sensor:

This sensor connect directly on a 4 pin Plug, on the Climate Box.

    32 grey Pin plug:

As you know it is necessary disassemble all dashboard, direction column, and the iron bar that joins the pillars.

Here already with new climate box:

After this, I advise you to do all electric changes directly on dashboard, to avoid noise, loose wires, etc...

Now, I will show you a list made by me of the pins to use, and where you find the signals.

Connections of 32 Pin Grey Plug of Electronic Climate Control

    Pin 01 – + 12Volt (continuous voltage) – Red)
    Pin 02 – Ground -> Brown
    Pin 03 – Ground -> Brown -> Connect to Pin 2
    Pin 04 – + 12 Volt (Ignition Signal) – Black
Pin 05 – Light Signal – Grey/Yellow –> Pin 05 of plug of old Manual Climate.
    Pin 06 – Not used
    Pin 07 – Not used
    Pin 08 – Not used
    Pin 09 – Not used
    Pin 10 – Not used
    Pin 11 – Not used
    Pin 12 – Not used
    Pin 13 – Not used
    Pin 14 – Not used
Pin 15 – Signal Rear Defroster – Black/White -> Pin 02 of plug of old Manual Climate.
Pin 16 – Signal Rear Defroster – Black -> Pin 07 of plug of old Manual Climate.
Pin 17 – Controller of Blower – Black/Blue -> Pin 02 of the small (5 pins) black plug on the Climate Box (near the Blower).
Pin 18 – Controller of Blower – Brown/Blue -> Pin 04 of the small (5 pins) black plug on the Climate Box (near the Blower).
Pin 19 – Motor ECU - Black/Green -> Pin 01 of plug of old Manual Climate.
Pin 20 – MKM (Motor Clima Module) – Brown/Violet -> Pin 17 of MKM (front, left, behind bumper – only exists one wire with this color on MKM plugs, it’s only search for it)
Pin 21 – Speed Signal - Blue/Red -> (find it on TID/MID/GID/CID plug – Blue/Red wire, only exists one wire with this color on TID/MID/GID/CID plug, it’s only search for it)
Pin 22 – Rotation Motor Signal – Green -> Pin 20 of Instrument Panel (or Pin 06 of MID/GID/CID - Not TID).
    Pin 23 – Not Used.
Pin 24 – Outside Temperature - Blue -> Pin 07 of TID plug, or 03 of MID/GID/CID plug)
    Pin 25 – Not used
    Pin 26 – Not used
    Pin 27 – Not used
    Pin 28 – Not used
    Pin 29 – Not used
    Pin 30 – Not used
    Pin 31 – Diagnostic Signal – Brown/White -> Pin 12 of diagnostic plug.

Small (5 pins) Black plug on the Climate Box (near the Blower).(Blower's controller)

    Pin 01 – + 12Volt - Black -> Pin 06 of plug of old Manual Climate.
Pin 02 – Signal from ECC electronic panel – Black/Blue -> Pin 17 from ECC (already connected by you on ECC 32 pin plug)
Pin 03 – Ground – Brown -> Pin 04 of plug of old Manual Climate.
Pin 04 – Signal from ECC electronic panel – Brown/Blue -> Pin 18 from ECC (already connected by you on ECC 32 pin plug)
    Pin 05 – Not used.

2 Extra pins –> Blower voltage. Already connected on a Climate Box.

    Notes:

The Pins that I set in bold letters are the signals that exist on the old manual climate! This pins exist on a Car Plug that connect to old 9 pins plug climate box!

    Here a photo of it:

You disassemble all old climate box from car, and you will only need to cut the car plug. After this you only connect indicated pins to 32 grey Pin plug, and add the new pins/signals on the new 32 grey pin plug.

small (5 pins) black plug (on the Blower controller)

This plug is part of new climate box, it is near the Blower, like I show on this photo:

    Here the plug:
Two pins (large wires) are connected to existent pins on old plug of old climate box, and the other two, connect to 32 grey pin plug of Electronic Panel (I think that it is correctly clarified on pins list).

It connect on this controller (located on new Climate Box):

Two extra wires are directly connected to Blower.

After this, and all connections fitted, it's fit it all again!

I hope to help you with these informations!

A little advise for the headlights:

The metal housing of the ignitors have to be removed for better fitting.
In the metal housing is the plastic ignitor hiding, that is stock for the astra xenon headlights.
It's just unlabled, but that doesn't matter.

There must have been problems to fit them with the metal housing?

Thank you Mike My DTI is nice, but it only have 75 HP

The black trim between the side-windows is from the version OPC. It imitates carbon.

In Opel it costs 44 Euros (Portugal).

    Hallo

Kann mir jemand die Opel Teile Nummer für die Carbon Blenden mitteilen.

    Das ist Folie, keine Blende.
Nimm Carbonfolie und mach es dir selbst: https://www.astra-g.de/showthread.ph...ighlight=folie

    http://www.ecat24.com/opel/catalog/p...4,25292,25293/
Die Folien für den Caravan kosten bei Opel zusammen ~250€, falls überhaupt noch lieferbar.
